Key Responsibilities
The Court Evaluator conducts clinical assessments and prepares legal petitions for patients under the Involuntary Treatment Act. They also serve as an expert witness in legal proceedings and provide guidance to staff regarding mental health laws and regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, or a Ph.D. in Social Work or Psychology. Additionally, they must possess a valid Washington state license in their respective field and have at least 2 years of experience in acute mental healthcare.
