Join Helio Health as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor – Inpatient Program in Syracuse, New York. Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Substance Use Disorder Counselor will review of main responsibilities.
This position offers a signing bonus. Work with Helio Health in Syracuse, New York.
The counselor will maintain a caseload of patients, performing essential duties such as screening, assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. They are also responsible for case management, patient education, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate or bachelor degree preferred. A CASAC-T or CASAC-P eligibility is required for the position.
