Join Helio Health as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor – Sign-On Bonus in Syracuse, New York. Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CASAC) will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health’s Syracuse Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).
This position offers a signing bonus. Work with Helio Health in Syracuse, New York.
The counselor will maintain a caseload of patients and perform essential clinical duties including screening, assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate records and participating in administrative and clinical committees.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and hold a CASAC-T or be CASAC-P eligible. One year of counseling experience is preferred, along with proficiency in basic computer applications.
