Manchester Memorial Hospital, a member of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our Adult Ambulatory Services team in the Greater Manchester Region of Connecticut.
This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient psychiatric care within one of New England's largest and most comprehensive behavioral health systems while helping educate the next generation of psychiatrists through resident and medical student teaching.
Position Highlights
· Join an established, collaborative team of psychiatrists and advanced practice providers
· Provide outpatient psychiatric care within Adult Ambulatory Services
· Participate in resident supervision and academic teaching opportunities
· Eligible for faculty appointment through our affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
· Monday through Friday schedule
· No required after-hours call
· Optional moonlighting opportunities available
· Access to Hartford HealthCare's Provider Leadership Development Institute
· Dedicated support through Hartford HealthCare's Office of Provider Wellness
About the Greater Manchester Region Psychiatry Department
The Psychiatry Department delivers a comprehensive continuum of behavioral healthcare services, including:
· Adult dual-diagnosis inpatient services at Manchester Memorial Hospital
· Adolescent inpatient services at Manchester Memorial Hospital
· Young adult and older adult psychiatry units at nearby Rockville General Hospital
· Child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric care
· Emergency Department psychiatry services
· Consult-liaison psychiatry services
· Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
· Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
· Adult, child, and adolescent outpatient behavioral health services.
