Key Responsibilities
The Medical Director will serve as the primary clinical voice for provider engagement, leading peer-to-peer conversations and resolving clinical-policy objections. They will also oversee clinical governance, including sign-off on protocols, drug list strategy, and representing the company to external stakeholders.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license and at least 5 years of clinical practice experience. Preferred qualifications include board certification and experience in managed care, specialty drugs, or utilization management.
