Key Responsibilities
The Qualified Mental Health Professional provides comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting, including intake, assessments, and crisis intervention. They are also responsible for treatment planning, case management, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess an active Illinois license (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT). A minimum of two years of direct care experience with individuals with mental illness is preferred.
