The Licensed Social Worker is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental illnesses and substance use disorders within a correctional facility. They collaborate with medical and security staff to develop treatment plans and ensure quality care while maintaining a safe environment.
Candidates must possess an independent licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.) and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health or acute care setting. Experience in correctional healthcare is preferred, and applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
