Dentist- PRN

• vision of dental care as well as those relating to, but not limited to, personnel issues, work place safety, public health and confidentiality. Attends, participates, and/or assists in meetings, trainings, community outreach activities, continuing education opportunities, and other activities as required. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: In-depth understanding of dental hygiene. Ability to correctly utilize various dental equipment and tools. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills including active listening. Service-oriented and a pleasant and compassionate approach to patient care. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred. Education and Experience: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from a dental school accredited by the American Dental Association required. Currently and actively licensed by the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners required upon hire. 3+ years of experience in civilian or military practice as a Dentist required. 1+ years of experience as a dentist in a public health, FQHC, or similar setting preferred. Other Requirements: New Hires are required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective 11/1/2022). Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or must pass fingerprint clearance within 7 days following hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
