Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing appropriate treatment plans for those with critical medical conditions. They also perform clinical procedures such as endotracheal tube management and provide education to patients and their families.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC and possess a Basic Life Support certification. Additionally, current state licensure is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
