Key Responsibilities

The Social Worker will interview and assess patients and their families to determine and arrange for necessary internal and external services and interventions. This role also involves participating in case reviews, consulting with the healthcare team, assisting with discharge planning, and supervising or training new staff, students, and interns.

Requirements

Applicants are required to have a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree preferred, and must obtain Board Certified Social Worker or related field certification in Virginia within six months of hire. Additionally, the candidate must complete Handle With Care training within 30 days of starting.
