Responsibilities

Practice Highlights

  • 1:5 Call
  • Approximately 550 births and 425 surgical cases annually
  • Level 1 well newborn nursery (35 weeks)
  • Collaborative relationship with 5 Midwives as first call support
  • Family Medicine Residency
  • High-risk OB care and gyn subspecialty care in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester colleagues (1hr 15 min away)

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join our current group, forming a comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic team to deliver excellent, compassionate care to our communities. Work in a collaborative, team-based approach with other OBGYNs, Family Medicine Providers and Midlevel providers (CNMs, PAs and NPs).

Our model utilizes an integrated team approach, with primary delivery support being performed by our CNMs. You will provide support for both high-risk obstetrical patients and gynecologic patients as needed. Subspecialty services are available at Mayo Clinic Rochester, including: MFM, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrine and infertility. As part of a health care system, consultations are also readily available from other specialties as well.

The Family Birthing Center delivers over 500 babies per year and is consistently ranked as high-performing by U.S. News & World Report.

Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
