Key Responsibilities

The Surgical Nurse Practitioner will deliver high-quality care to urologic patients by performing medical evaluations, ordering diagnostics, first-assisting in the Operating Room, and conducting bedside procedures under physician supervision. Responsibilities also include frequent interaction with patients and families, prescribing medication, writing orders, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing and hold active Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse certifications from the New York State Education Department, with RNFA certification being required.
