About Avance Care
As one of North Carolina's largest independent primary care networks with over 35 clinics spanning the Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte, and Wilmington regions, Avance Care is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare by delivering exceptional, inclusive, and whole-person care.
We believe this transformation starts with clinicians who feel valued, rewarded, and supported, which is why we actively eliminate burnout through premium benefits, a collaborative teamwork culture, and flexible scheduling that protects your work-life balance. By integrating traditional medicine with on-site behavioral health and nutrition services, we create an affirming, non-judgmental environment where you can move away from treating patients like numbers and focus on building deep, meaningful relationships.
Why Work for Avance Care?
We know that outstanding patient care starts with happy, supported clinicians! We offer premium compensation and structure your day to guarantee a healthy professional and personal balance through:
True Work-Life Balance: Maximum of 40 hours per week; which includes 36 hrs/wk patient facing and built in 4 hrs/wk for admin time.
Onsite Collaborative Care: Work alongside an integrated team of onsite labs, primary care providers, and nutritionists.
Innovative Technology: Work with a robust EMR system and integrated telehealth tools designed to make delivering care seamless.
Robust Administrative Support: Centralized care coordination, care management, and population health management handle the heavy lifting, so you can focus on patients.
Premium Benefits: We offer a top-tier compensation package featuring high earning potential through competitive salaries with productivity bonuses, plus comprehensive medical and dental insurance, 401(k) matching, and robust paid time off and holiday benefits.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Clinical Therapy & Assessment:
Comprehensive Mental Health Services: Provide outpatient clinical assessments, psychotherapy, and evidence-based individual, or group therapy to a highly diverse patient population.
Targeted Care & Screenings: Conduct routine mental health screenings and perform brief behavioral assessments. Along with referring out for advanced diagnostic testing when clinically warranted.
Crisis Intervention: Deliver acute, short-term counseling, or behavioral interventions to help stabilize patients experiencing emotional distress, or mental health crises.
Integrated Primary Care Collaboration
Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Partner directly with an onsite medical team consisting of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and registered dietitians to deliver holistic, whole-person care.
Internal Coordination: Manage care coordination and warm handoffs directly with the psychiatry department and primary care teams to close treatment loops seamlessly.
Modern Workflow & Technology Execution
Hybrid Service Delivery: Seamlessly split clinical schedules between in-office face-to-face appointments and advanced telehealth modalities to increase patient access and flexibility.
Administrative Stewardship: Utilize robust Electronic Health Record (EHR) software to complete clinical charting, manage appointments, and track patient follow-ups efficiently.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for forward-thinking clinicians who are ready to elevate patient care alongside us. Our ideal candidate brings:
