The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care, including diagnosis and treatment, with a focus on HIV, immigrant, and homeless populations. They also lead the care team, delegate tasks to RNs, and ensure the development of individualized patient care plans.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and hold a valid New York State license. Certification by the AANP or ANCC, BLS certification, and the ability to obtain a DATA waiver for Buprenorphine are required.
