Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive medical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for older adult patients within the in-patient Geriatric and Palliative Care program. They will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and possess active Connecticut APRN, DEA, and CT CSP licensure. Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner is required to meet hospital medical staff bylaws.
