The Radiation Therapist administers daily radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and performs simulations, dose calculations, and treatment parameter acquisition. They also monitor patient progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and assist in clinical activities including Brachytherapy procedures.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree and be registered with the ARRT, with a valid license to practice in the State of Ohio. A BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
