Job Description

A PT-Owned Practice That Understands Physical Therapists

Peak Performance Physical Therapy is privately and locally owned by a Physical Therapist.

That matters.

Our leadership understands the demands of patient care, the transition from DPT student to practicing clinician, the importance of continued clinical growth, and the difference the right working environment can make over the course of a Physical Therapist's career.

We have built Peak around the belief that when clinicians are supported, challenged to grow, and given the opportunity to do meaningful work, both our therapists and our patients benefit.

Our Team Describes Peak as a Place Where

  • Patient-centered, one-on-one care is valued
  • Continuing education and mentorship are encouraged
  • Clinicians are supported in developing their individual interests
  • Leadership opportunities are available
  • Feedback and collaboration are welcomed
  • Team members can grow professionally without becoming lost in a large corporate system

What You'll Do

  • As a Physical Therapist at Peak Performance Physical Therapy, you will:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, post-surgical, sports, and other outpatient conditions
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on patient goals and clinical findings
  • Provide evidence-informed, patient-centered treatment
  • Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and other appropriate treatment approaches
  • Educate patients on movement, recovery, injury prevention, and long-term health
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, PTAs, support staff, referring providers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing clinical education and professional development

Maintain Timely and Accurate Clinical Documentation

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic cultures.
  • Pursue specialty interests and professional growth opportunities based on your career goal
  • Who We're Looking For
  • You may be a great fit if you are:
  • A licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan or eligible for Michigan licensure
  • A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • A recent DPT graduate, NPTE passer, or experienced clinician
  • Passionate about outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
  • Interested in continued clinical development
  • Collaborative and patient-focused
  • Motivated to build strong relationships with patients and coworkers
  • Looking for a practice where you can continue growing professionally

Recent DPT graduates who have passed the NPTE and are awaiting or completing Michigan licensure are encouraged to apply.

Experience in outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, sports medicine, pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation, dry needling, or other specialty areas is welcomed but not required.

Recently Passed the NPTE? Start Your PT Career at Peak

Passing the NPTE is a major milestone. The next decision—where you begin your career—can shape the kind of clinician you become.

Your first few years of practice should give you more than a schedule full of patients. They should give you access to experienced clinicians who will answer questions, challenge your clinical reasoning, help you build confidence, and support your transition from DPT student to practicing Physical Therapist.

At Peak, learning never stops.

New Graduate Physical Therapists Receive

  • Clinical mentorship and access to experienced PTs
  • Continuing education opportunities
  • Support as you transition into independent practice
  • Exposure to multiple outpatient specialties
  • Paid documentation time
  • Opportunities to develop your individual clinical interests
  • Leadership and career development as your experience grows

If you recently graduated from a Doctor of Physical Therapy program, passed the National Physical Therapy Examination, or are preparing to begin your first Physical Therapist position in Michigan, we would like to meet you.
