Job description
Join Jewish Family and Children's Services as a Social Worker - Traumatic Invalidation in Toronto, Ontario. Key Responsibilities * Provide trauma-informed assessment, counselling, crisis intervention, safety planning, and case management services. * Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic supports for individuals impacted by antisemitism and hate-based trauma.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed assessment, counselling, crisis intervention, safety planning, and case management services.
- Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic supports for individuals impacted by antisemitism and hate-based trauma.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups focused on resilience, validation, and healing.
- Support clients with referrals, advocacy, and connection to community and legal resources.

Requirements
Requires a Master of Social Work and registration with the OCSWSSW, along with 2-3 years of clinical experience in trauma-focused therapy. Candidates must be trained in an evidence-based trauma modality and possess a strong understanding of Jewish identity and intergenerational trauma.
