Key Responsibilities
- Administer and analyze psychological test batteries and clinical assessments with acute psychiatric inpatients in a timely fashion, including cognitive, personality and psychiatric assessments.
- Provide expert clinical consultation and treatment recommendations to multidisciplinary teams that include psychiatrists, APRNS, residents, nurses, guardians, aftercare agencies, and other medical providers.
- Determine and provide psychological interventions including crisis assessment and management, individual therapy, group therapy, and behavioral interventions.
- Provide clinical supervision of doctoral level psychology interns and graduate students.
Requirements
- Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
- Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program.
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship from an APPIC accredited program.
- Required Licensure/Certifications.
