Position Summary
Integrity Medical Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our specialty medical team. The position will focus primarily on neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine care, with exposure to orthopaedic extremities and interventional pain management as appropriate to the practice's clinical needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with our physicians to evaluate and manage patients, support diagnostic and treatment planning, monitor clinical progress, and coordinate follow-up care. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within established clinical protocols and applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
This is a hands-on clinical role in a high-volume specialty practice. The position requires working at both our Summerfield and Clermont clinics, based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and focused neurological and musculoskeletal evaluations.
Evaluate and manage patients with neurosurgical conditions, spinal injuries, orthopaedic spine disorders, and orthopaedic extremity conditions.
Collaborate with physicians to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Review diagnostic studies, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and laboratory results, within the provider's authorized scope of practice.
Monitor patient progress, identify changes in clinical status, and communicate relevant findings to the treating physician.
Assist with appropriate in-office procedures and patient care activities consistent with training, privileges, and applicable requirements.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments to promote continuity of care.
Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, attorneys, medical facilities, and other partners involved in the personal injury care process.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient workflows, teamwork, and an exceptional patient experience.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine conditions; experience with orthopaedic extremities is also valuable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain clinical information clearly and compassionately.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
- Professionalism, accountability, initiative, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently while recognizing when physician consultation or escalation is necessary.
- Familiarity with EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Google Workspace.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
- Education, Licensure & Experience
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.
- Current, active Florida licensure appropriate to the position.
- Current NCCPA certification for PA-C candidates or applicable national certification for APRN candidates.
- At least one year of clinical experience in neurosurgery, orthopaedic spine, orthopaedics, or a closely related specialty preferred; two or more years preferred.
- Neurosurgical or orthopaedic spine experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in a high-volume specialty practice is a plus.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday
On-Call: Rotating on-call schedule required. Hospital privileges are not required.
Compensation: $125,000 to $145,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and specialty expertise.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a current Florida license as an APRN or PA-C and possess NCCPA or equivalent national certification. At least one year of clinical experience in neurosurgery or orthopaedics is preferred, along with strong assessment and communication skills.
