Key Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver services in both in-person and telehealth modalities while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and an active, unrestricted New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse license. One year of post-licensure experience in psychiatric assessments for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required.
