Key Responsibilities

  • Graduate of an accredited program and board certified with prescriptive authority.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must, knowledge of billing services is required, understands the various responsibilities physician/NP/Patient relationship.
  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with certification by a national Nurse Practitioner certification board.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Registered Nursing license and a degree required to obtain an NP license, along with graduation from an accredited program and board certification with prescriptive authority. A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting is required, and GI experience is highly preferred, along with ACLS certification.
