Legacy Behavioral Health Center, Inc. is a community mental health center that has been serving residents of Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, Indian River and Brevard Counties since 2005. We are currently seeking Mental Health Counselors (preferably bilingual) for Port St. Lucie - St. Lucie County
The candidate will provide mental health services in the field/community to children, adolescents, families and adults throughout St. Lucie County.
Detailed description will be provided during interview.
Independent contractor position with flexible schedule. Full time hours (25+ hours) preferred.
Skills/ Requirements
Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related fields;
Experience in working with children and families;
Preferably Bilingual (English/Spanish);
Preferably Licensed (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT);
In-person and telehealth (not telehealth only).
This is an independent contractor position.
Key Responsibilities
The mental health counselor will provide community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, families, and adults. The role involves a combination of in-person field visits and telehealth sessions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Experience working with children and families is required, and professional licensure is preferred.
