Key Responsibilities

The clinical pharmacist provides leadership within a specialized healthcare team to ensure optimal cost-effective drug therapy by developing pharmacotherapeutic goals and monitoring plans for individualized patient needs. Responsibilities include reviewing drug orders, dispensing medications, leading efforts in medication error prevention, and supervising support personnel.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a Tennessee Pharmacist License, with at least one year of relevant work experience highly preferred. Formal training or interest in infectious disease is preferred, as is hospital inpatient or outpatient pharmacist experience.
