Key Responsibilities
The Intake Social Worker assesses patients entering the hospital for mental health and chemical dependency services while providing crisis intervention to families. They also facilitate appropriate patient dispositions and provide psychosocial consultation to hospital personnel.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited school of social work and be a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Illinois. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association is also required.
