Clinical Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist is responsible for patient pharmacotherapy outcomes by serving as a primary contact for medication-related issues and explaining care plans and medication use to patients and providers. This role also involves overseeing Pharmacy Technicians, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, proper documentation, and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a BS in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) and hold an active license in their state of residence, with the requirement to obtain a New Jersey license within 90 days. A minimum of two years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging, with exposure to geriatrics or chronic care management, is mandatory.
