Nurse Practitioner- General Cardiology

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will be required to complete an NP Agreement detailing their role, relationship with collaborating physicians, functions, privileges, and prescriptive authority. Overall, the NP will support the objectives, budget, performance metrics, and medical activities at an individual level, including implementing quality control standards and risk management programs.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's in Nursing and be licensed as both an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) and a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions. Two years of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred.
