About the Role
Join Indiana Regional Medical Center as a Behavioral Health Recreation Aide – Part Time in United States. Supports safe and effective delivery of recreational and therapeutic programming within inpatient behavioral health services. Promotes and adheres to IRMC core values of ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and G.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating therapeutic and recreational group activities.
- Encourage patient participation and engagement in structured programming.
- Support development of coping skills, socialization, and emotional regulation through activities.
- Monitor patient behavior and maintain a safe, structured therapeutic milieu.
Requirements
- Required: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: Experience working in behavioral health, including facilitating group activities or working in structured programming environments, preferred.
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
