Key Responsibilities
The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular diseases for residents in skilled nursing facilities. They are also responsible for prescribing corrective lenses or medications and providing pre- and post-operative care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and possess an active state license. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a professional, ethical approach to patient care are required.
