Licensed Social Worker / Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The clinician is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and implementing the mental health program at the correctional facility in accordance with NCCHC standards. Primary duties include conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and serving as a liaison between the medical unit and facility staff.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid New York state license as an LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW and possess at least a Master's degree in a relevant human service field. A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably with substance abuse or MAT counseling, is required.
