Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Navigator provides direct and indirect patient care, serving as the primary contact for oncology patients throughout their treatment journey. They educate patients and families on diagnostic procedures, chemotherapy, and care plans while supporting faculty during clinical sessions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current California RN license, Basic Life Support certification, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At least 6 months of oncology nursing experience or 1 year of clinical experience with a completed cancer basics course is required.
