General Description: The Mental Health Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy to children, adults, and families. They may also provide case management and consultation with PCPs, schools, ODHS Child Welfare and Self Sufficiency programs, and other community partners. Clients are self-referred or referred through partnerships with local schools, primary care physicians, hospitals, or ODHS Child Welfare or Self Sufficiency. Options accepts both commercial insurance and Oregon Health Plan.

Required Qualifications

Masters or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field. Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and be eligible for registration as an associate (Social Work Associate, Professional Counselor Associate, Marriage and Family Associate), a Psychology Resident or licensure in the State of Oregon. Knowledge and/or experience providing mental health services, including assessment and diagnosis, to children, families, and/or adults. Must be computer proficient. Must have respectful, open, accepting attitude toward clients and their families. Must be able to pass a ODHS background check.
