Key Responsibilities
The counselor provides confidential HIV/STD/Hep C testing, counseling, and education to community members while performing specimen collection and laboratory tasks. They also document client information, link patients to care, and participate in community outreach and screening events.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required, and the ability to perform phlebotomy or a willingness to be trained is essential.
