Key Responsibilities
The Substance Abuse Specialist will provide integrated, recovery-oriented services to adults with severe mental illness and substance use challenges within a multidisciplinary ACT team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering counseling, managing cases, and coordinating community resources to support client stability.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Louisiana licensure such as LPC, LCSW, or LAC and possess at least two years of professional experience working with individuals with serious mental illness. A valid state driver's license is also required for community-based travel.
