About the Role

Join ACLD as a School Social Worker – M-F Schedule, Bilingual in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with all the children on caseload in order to provide ongoing assessment and input regarding the child's needs and growth.
  • Provide social skills training on an ongoing basis in large/small group settings.
  • Conduct initial Social History Evaluations as needed.
  • Conduct Routine Based Interviews with the child's classroom team and the child's family in order to provide important psycho social information to aid the team in its work with the child/family.

  • Full-Time position.
  • Day shift only - no nights.

Candidates must have a Master’s Degree and Licensure as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist in NY State. Experience working with developmentally delayed children and knowledge of community resources is also required.
