Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join an outpatient pediatric clinic in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This role focuses on working with children from early childhood through adolescence, helping them overcome speech, language, and communication challenges. You will provide individualized, play-based therapy in a clinic setting while collaborating closely with families to support each child’s development. Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
  • Use engaging, play-based therapy techniques to support communication development
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
  • Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers on home strategies and carryover techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress

Requirements

  • Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Minimum of 6 months of recent pediatric or SLP experience within the last 5 years preferred
  • Experience in an outpatient pediatric setting is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children and families
