Hospitalist Opportunity in Central North Carolina!
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, community-based health care network serving the mid-Carolinas and is seeking an experienced Hospitalist to join our established inpatient medicine team at our Richmond campus in Rockingham, NC.
Position Highlights
Practice at a 99-bed facility with highly trained staff.
Stable Hospitalist service has been in-house for 20+ years. Very collegial team with low turnover.

Serve diverse patient populations while maintaining the support and resources of the larger FirstHealth system.
Dedicated Nocturnist APPs.
Hospitalist service also includes Intensivists, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics at our flagship hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Supportive administration, collegial relationships with Primary Care physicians and specialists, and easy access to subspecialists.

Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency program, with board certification or board eligibility required.
- Two years of Hospitalist experience preferred.
- Must have a clean background, NC medical license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS certification.
- Ability and willingness to provide scheduled coverage at both the Hoke Campus in Raeford and Richmond in Rockingham is required.
