Resident Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The Resident Counselor establishes therapeutic relationships with clients and facilitates life skills groups to support independent living. They also monitor resident interactions, provide behavioral interventions, and assist with the admission process for the residential care program.

Requirements

Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in a human services field and possess a valid driver's license. Required certifications include Heartsaver AED and Medication Management, which must be obtained within the first few months of employment.
