Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant will implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. They are also responsible for monitoring patient progress, documenting treatments in compliance with regulations, and educating patients and families on self-care techniques.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program. A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or license eligibility is also required.
