Key Responsibilities
The On-Site Counselor provides individual consultation, short-term problem resolution, and emotional support to participants while facilitating group sessions and managing disruptive events. They also conduct assessments, provide referrals to mental health and community resources, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and maintain an independent clinical license in Virginia. At least two years of experience in substance use disorders and three years in assessment and counseling are required, along with the ability to pass a federal security clearance.
