Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and dysphagia-related needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care focused on safety, function, and quality of life.
- Conduct swallowing evaluations and recommend appropriate diet modifications and compensatory strategies.
- Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams to support resident care plans.
Requirements
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
- Organized, self-directed, and patient-focused.
