Key Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient therapy evaluations in order to develop a plan of care for patients in designated senior living communities or in a group home setting for adults with intellectual disabilities.
- Educate the client, family and community caregivers on the care plans created for your clients in order to achieve a team approach to maximizing functional independence.
- Develop your skills with training and scholarship opportunities.
Requirements
- A current New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
