Job description

About the Role

The MHPROF Assessor/Therapist provides comprehensive clinical services, including timely initial intake evaluations, interdisciplinary referrals, and direct therapeutic treatment, which may include brief or longer-term therapies. This position works across the lifespan (children to late adulthood) with diverse communities. 

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field, valid licensure or certification as a counselor or equivalent in the state of employment. Must be fluent n English and Hmong. Have a minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a bilingual setting. Must have strong knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Training or certification in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or culturally responsive counseling preferred with experience working with diverse populations, including immigrants, refugees, or underserved communities. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
