Join Brattleboro Retreat as a Staff Psychiatrist - Adult Inpatient in Brattleboro, Vermont. Job Summary: As an active member of the Medical Staff, is responsible for providing high quality, appropriate care to assigned inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and/or residential program patients, in accordance with accepted Medical Staff standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the evaluation and care of assigned caseload and additional medical duties as needed to provide appropriate care to patients, at hours and clinical care sites reasonably determined by employer, consistent with training and expertise of the psychiatrist.
  • Serves as a leader of interdisciplinary treatment team in order to coordinate team's functioning and optimize patient care and treatment.
  • Abides by Medical Staff by-laws, Brattleboro Retreat Policies and Procedures, as well as Medical Staff Rules and Regulations.
  • Provides services to marketing.

Requirements

  • Licensed and registered in the state of Vermont.
  • Board eligible or certified.
  • Psychiatrists performing ECT must have education at least every two years and have ACLS certification.
  • Maintain clinical privileges and necessary professional licenses and certification.
