Key Responsibilities
The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, and directs community clinical and medication programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state standards. They are responsible for conducting resident health assessments, developing care plans, and serving as a clinical resource for the community staff.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current nursing license (RN, LPN, or LVN) and possess at least 1-2 years of management experience in a clinical or long-term care setting. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nursing, social work, or gerontology is preferred.
