Requirements

Required education is graduation from a 2-year AMA-approved Respiratory Care program, along with less than 10 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, a licensed RCP, and BCLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a 4-year degree, 1 year of clinical experience, RRT registration, ACLS, and NRP/PALS.
