Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner performs patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments while managing daily rounds and coordinating care with the medical team. They are responsible for documenting care plans, interpreting diagnostic results, and providing post-discharge instructions to patients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner program and possess current New York State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse. Additionally, a current BLS certification and a collaborative practice agreement or attestation are required.
