Job Description

Aspire Educational Services (AES) is excited to announce a part-time opportunity to work as an independent contractor with our partner school as an Occupational Therapist for director services OR evaluations only!

Part-time/per Diem Work

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities, sensory processing, and fine motor skills.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and help them achieve their educational goals in accordance with their IEP.

  • Collaborate with other members of the student's education team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for students with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment.
  • Observe & assess students’ progress and prepare detailed reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
  • Proof of professional liability insurance.
  • Experience in a PreK-12 school setting.
  • Possible Covid-19 testing and/or vaccination required by school.
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of registration and insurance.
  • Must have current (or be able to clear) required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances.

Requirements

Requires a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License. Candidates must have experience in a PreK-12 school setting and possess professional liability insurance.
