Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In This Role You Will Be
- Performing echocardiography studies on outpatient, adults over the age of
- - Exercising independent judgment in emergency situations.
Qualifications
Required
- EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited sonography/echocardiography program
- EXPERIENCE: Training and clinical experience in the different modalities of echocardiography including transthoracic, exercise stress, and stress echocardiography preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Registered or registry-eligible as a diagnostic medical sonographer or diagnostic cardiac sonographer required
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
Key Responsibilities
The primary duty involves performing echocardiography studies on adult outpatients over the age of 18 within the cardiology office setting. This role also requires exercising independent judgment when faced with emergency situations.
