Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacist in Charge ensures the appropriateness of medication orders and maintains high standards of patient safety and quality assurance. They also lead system initiatives, provide operational oversight, and train pharmacy staff and students.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and an active Virginia Pharmacist License. A minimum of three years of pharmacist experience is required, with preference given to those with a PharmD and outpatient pharmacy leadership experience.
